As the HV Substation Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the engineering and delivery of MV/HV substations for our integral utility-scale renewable energy project portfolio. You will lead the complete substation engineering lifecycle, from concept and detailed design through procurement support, construction, commissioning, energization, and final handover. Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, utilities, TSOs/DSOs, suppliers, and project stakeholders, you will ensure technical excellence,



grid compliance, and successful delivery of complex substation projects. While based in Spain, this position offers the opportunity for international travel to project sites, supporting our Solar PV, BESS, Wind, and Hybrid projects across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the engineering and technical design of MV and HV substations for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
Manage the complete substation engineering lifecycle from concept design through detailed engineering, construction support, commissioning, and project close-out.
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams including primary, secondary, protection & control, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
Review and approve single-line diagrams (SLDs), protection philosophies, equipment layouts, cable routing, earthing systems, lightning protection, and auxiliary systems.
