The *Structural Integrity & Test organization (TADAT) *is seeking a highly motivated *Structural Test Laboratory Engineer* to join the *Structural Test Laboratory & Systems Area (TADAT2)*. This role is a fixed-term position *to cover an internal paternity leave (19CW duration)*.
In this pivotal role, you will ensure the success of the* Production Planning, Assembly, and Engineering Support* domain (one of the fundamental pillars of our organization). You will be responsible for bridging the gap between complex structural analysis and physical validation, ensuring that our testing capabilities meet the highest standards of aeronautical excellence.
You will report directly to the *Head of Structural Test Laboratory & Systems (TADAT2)*
Laboratory & Test Management*
- Workload & Resource Management: Oversee shopfloor workload, manage laboratory resources, and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery.
- Manage a multidisciplinary working environment involving office-based engineers, workshop teams (mechanical and electrical), and external stakeholders.
- Project Planning: Prepare internal project proposals, including detailed estimations of time, cost, and resource expenditure.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor adherence to planning targets and implement effective countermeasures in the event of plan/presente variances.
*Technical Engineering & Support*
- Testing Scope: Oversee a wide range of structural testing subdomains, including static and fatigue tests, damage tolerance, stiffness, bird impact, dynamic tests, and calibration for in-flight load measurement.
