Engineering Manager - AWS
An established FinTech is looking for an Engineering Manager to take ownership of its cloud platform foundations. This position sits at the heart of the company’s technical operations, guiding how core infrastructure is designed, maintained, and evolved across a large-scale AWS environment.
The successful candidate will combine hands‑on cloud expertise with strong leadership skills, ensuring the platform remains secure, compliant, efficient, and ready to support general growth.
About the Role

- Shape the future architecture of the company’s AWS environment and define the technical direction for the platform team
- Create and maintain an engineering roadmap that supports business expansion and platform reliability
- Oversee the build, automation, and optimisation of core infrastructure services, including networking,
observability, and deployment tooling
- Ensure that systems meet stringent regulatory, security, and audit requirements
- Support the integration of new business units and acquisitions into a unified AWS operating model
- Act as a mentor and technical guide for engineers, helping them navigate complex design and operational challenges
You will manage a group of infrastructure and platform engineers, taking responsibility for:
