Role Overview
This is a 1‑year maternity cover contract supporting the Financial Controller. The role involves ensuring accurate recording and control of the company’s assets and liabilities.
Key Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly profit and loss analysis for all entities for review with the Financial Controller.
- Review and post monthly operating expenditure accruals, ensuring invoices are paid on time.
- Prepare and post regular monthly journals including management fee, accruals and prepayments.
- Ensure timely accrual, payment and filing of all local and statutory requirements, including corporate tax and other regulatory obligations.
- Prepare and submit National Statistics forms.
- Monitor intercompany postings, prepare reconciliations at month‑end and support the intercompany team.
- Prepare quarterly VAT return, file and reconcile.
- Prepare MIS for US tax return and quarterly advance tax payments.
- Handle all accounting and reporting compliance for entities in the Europe and NAM regions.
- Monitor and improve data flows into the accounting system with the IT team and analyse control.
- Review automated FX calculations.
- Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review monthly overhead costs and ensure all costs are allocated to the correct business unit.
- Assist with the RADE process by investigating queries and preparing adjusting journals.
