The role of Country Purchaser is to manage country specific purchasing topics to support regional business development. To do so the jobholder drives regional execution and supply continuity aligned with global strategies and regional business needs, facilitating Hager integral sourcing footprint.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Being accountable to manage a defined group of vendors and partnerships in order to reach Hager objectives regarding quality, costs, lead time, compliance and sustainable criteria to ensure the application of concerned sourcing strategy. To do so she/he leads the commercial negotiations.
- Incorporate environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) requirements as part of the sourcing and ensures that vendors and any other business partners are matching Hager objectives set in the Code of Sustainable Sourcing.
- Develop and manage overall regional sourcing roadmaps and strategies for assigned
