About the role
We are looking for a highly organized and reliable Bookkeeper & Finance Administrator to support the day-to-day financial operations of two hospitality and leisure businesses, including a restaurant and a golf club.
This role is idóneo for a hands-on finance professional with strong administrative and bookkeeping capabilities who enjoys ownership, structure, and operational execution.
The successful candidate will become a key support function within the finance department, taking responsibility for core financial administration processes, maintaining accurate records, supporting monthly closing activities, and helping ensure smooth operational finance management across the businesses.
The position will also support the implementation and ongoing operation of Sage 200 as part of the company’s finance process modernization.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Administration & Bookkeeping
Process supplier and customer invoices accurately and on time.
Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.
Perform bank reconciliations and daily financial administration tasks.




Support the management of company payment processes and supplier schedules.
Ensure accurate filing and organization of financial documentation.
Accounts Receivable & Collections
Monitor outstanding receivables and customer balances.
Follow up on overdue payments professionally and efficiently.
Coordinate with operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
Maintain clear visibility over debtor aging and collection status.
Accounts Payable Support
Prepare payment runs and supporting documentation.
Monitor supplier due dates and payment schedules.
Liaise with suppliers regarding invoices and account queries.
Month-End Closing Support
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
Prepare reconciliations and transaction support documentation.
Ensure financial records are complete and accurate for reporting purposes.
