Freelance Space Embedded Software Engineer – Major European Satellite Project | Hybrid | Long-Term Contract
We are currently partnering with one of the leading players in the European space and satellite industry, supporting their rapid expansion as they shape the future of satellite communications.
They are urgently seeking a Freelance Embedded Software Engineer to join a high-impact mission defining the next phase of satellite technology. This is a long-term, hybrid contract role, offering you the chance to work on cutting-edge space systems with a highly respected organisation in the sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement embedded software in C for mission-critical satellite systems.
- Work on bare-metal development for space-grade hardware.
- Conduct static analysis and unit testing to ensure code reliability and safety.




- Debug and resolve complex software issues in real-time systems.

Ideal Candidate:
- Strong proficiency in C for embedded systems.
- Experience with bare-metal development in aerospace or similar high-integrity environments.
- Familiarity with static analysis tools, unit testing frameworks, and real-time debugging techniques.
