As a Software Engineer for the Core Platform, you will work closely with the founders and a small engineering team to design, build, and scale the foundational technology that powers our AI voice agents. Your mission is to own the performance, reliability, and technical excellence of our core platform, ensuring seamless integration with the world's leading AI model providers. This role is highly hands‑on, critical to our platform’s scalability, and central to Flyboard’s ability to deliver value at high volume.



You will report directly to the Technical Cofounder.
What You Will Do
- Platform Development: Design and implement robust, scalable platform features for our core voice agent infrastructure.
- API & Integration Ownership: Build, maintain, and optimize high-throughput APIs, ensuring reliable integration with core model providers (OpenAI, Google, ElevenLabs, Anthropic, Amazon, etc.).
- System Reliability: Optimize system performance, latency, and observability to ensure the core platform is stable and efficient under heavy load.
- Developer Tooling: Develop and implement internal tooling and automation to streamline the work of our Operations and Delivery teams.
- Deployment and Infrastructure: Improve our continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and contribute to maintaining our cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS, with exposure to Azure and GCP).
