IAG Engine Tech is at a stage of transformation and growth that requires turning strategic and operational challenges into concrete, coordinated and results-oriented projects. To do so, it needs to strengthen its ability to structure and execute cross-functional initiatives involving different business areas and support functions.

Reporting to the Transformation Manager, the mission of the Transformation Project Specialist will be to support the definition, planning, coordination, implementation and tracking of transformation projects, from identifying the problem through to achieving and sustaining the expected results.

We are looking for a generalist profile with industrial experience and a practical mindset, able to work on projects of different types as the company priorities evolve. The main contribution of the role will be to apply analysis, structured problem solving, project management and cross-functional coordination so that initiatives progress in an orderly and measurable way, without replacing business owners or specialist functions.

Key responsibilities

- Transformation project structuring: support the definition of the problem, objective, scope, owners, indicators, deliverables, milestones, risks, dependencies and work plan.
- Cross-functional project coordination: organise and track actions, meetings, deliverables and decisions across participating areas, ensuring clear responsibilities and next steps.
- Structured problem solving and analysis: gather and analyse information, identify causes, quantify impacts, compare alternatives and prepare practical recommendations.
- Process and ways-of-working improvement: analyse processes, identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities, and support the definition and implementation of solutions.
- Execution planning and tracking: keep the project plan up to date, anticipate deviations, manage risks and dependencies, and escalates blockers or decisions when required.
- Results and benefit tracking: work with business owners to define indicators and measure initiative progress, adoption and impact.
- Implementation and sustainability of improvements: ensure solutions address processes, roles, data, tools, training, communication and post-implementation tracking mechanisms.
- Executive documentation: prepare analyses, tracking materials and clear summaries for working sessions, committees and decision-making.
- External partner coordination:



support the management of consulting firms, suppliers or specialist partners, ensuring clear objectives and deliverables, integration with internal teams and knowledge transfer.

Objectives

- Support the execution of priority transformation projects, turning problems or opportunities into structured and measurable work plans.
- Ensure that assigned projects have clear objectives, scope, owners, plans, indicators, risks and success criteria.
- Improve coordination across areas and the discipline used to track actions, milestones, blockers and decisions.
- Provide analyses and recommendations that help solve problems and support well-informed decisions.
- Contribute to improving processes, ways of working, capabilities and tools within the scope of each project.
- Support the implementation and adoption of solutions, verifying that results are sustained once the initial phase is complete.
- Develop and reuse methods, analyses and tools that strengthen the execution capability of the Transformation team.
- Facilitate collaboration among business areas, support functions, technical teams and external partners.

Education, skills and experience

- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Organisation and Management, Business Administration, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Data/Analytics or an equivalent qualification.
- Professional experience in an industrial, operations, maintenance, manufacturing or supply chain environment, together with participation in transformation, performance improvement, digitalisation, continuous improvement, PMO or consulting projects.
- Ability to understand business and process problems, structure them and convert them into practical work plans.

Technical skills

- Structured problem solving: root-cause analysis, quantification, comparison of alternatives and preparation of recommendations.
- Project management: planning, milestones, actions, risks, dependencies, indicators, deliverables and decisions.
- Ability to analyse processes, data and ways of working and identify improvement opportunities.




- Ability to estimate impact, effort, risks and benefits and support simple business cases.
- Advanced Excel skills for analysis, scenarios and tracking.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills and executive synthesis capability.
- Knowledge of planning, project management, reporting or data visualisation tools.
- Ability to prepare and facilitate working sessions with diverse stakeholders.
- Specific experience in one or more of the following areas: digitalisation, data, analytics, automation, artificial intelligence or Industry 4.0.
- Continuous improvement, operational excellence, Lean, root-cause analysis, visual management or process redesign.
- PMO, project management, portfolio management, agile methodologies or programme tracking.
- Strategy, business transformation, change management, adoption, business cases or benefit tracking.
- Knowledge of industrial processes, MRO, engine maintenance, aerospace, manufacturing, supply chain or regulated environments.

Languages

- Spanish: required.
- English: C1 level or equivalent, with the ability to work with international stakeholders.

Experience

- 4+ years of total professional experience.
- 2+ years in transformation, operations, performance improvement, project management, digitalisation, continuous improvement, PMO or consulting.
- Experience taking responsibility for analyses or workstreams and coordinating stakeholders through to implementation or closure.
- Autonomy to manage assigned work, seeking guidance on scope, priority or escalation decisions.
- Experience in a recognised consulting firm will be highly valued, particularly in industrial, operations, technology or transformation projects.

Will be valued:

- Experience in transformation, operations, technology, PMO or performance improvement consulting.
- Specific experience in digitalisation and Industry 4.0, continuous improvement, or PMO and project management.
- Experience supporting cross-functional projects from definition through implementation and results tracking.
- Experience improving industrial processes, productivity, capacity, quality, planning or digitalisation.
- Knowledge of MRO, engine maintenance, manufacturing, supply chain, aerospace or industrial services.
- Experience coordinating internal functions and external suppliers.
- Use of dashboards, tracking tools or project management systems.
