Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Alcobendas. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services that power Axeria’s AI gateway,



focusing on robust APIs, routing logic, and integration with multiple model providers and deployment environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing performance and reliability, writing clean and testable code, reviewing peer code, and contributing to architectural decisions. The role also involves collaborating closely with product, DevOps, and data teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions, improve developer experience, and ensure security and compliance across the platform. The Software Engineer will participate in troubleshooting production issues, refining observability and logging, and continuously improving engineering practices.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and systems concepts.
Proficiency in Software Development and Programming using modern languages and frameworks.
