The Objectives of Procurement are to ensure stable financial performance and ongoing supply continuity across diverse supply chains.
Procurement plays a key role within Symrise, interacting with all parts of the business to facilitate supplier-led innovation, cost savings, supply stability, and sustainability initiatives.
This position is located in Parets del Vallés (industrial area).
The objective for this role is :
- Define regional strategic sourcing strategies across specified flavor categories/sub-categories, aligned with tasks assigned to Global and Regional Procurement Managers/Buyers.
- Monitor the business impact and risks of regional sourcing strategies and engage with the business community as needed.
- Manage, supervise, and coach the Procurement / Inbound Planning team.
- Negotiate commercial and supply agreements for raw materials and identify regional/local supply agreements where appropriate.
- Coordinate volume forecasts, market analysis, and trend information following integral best practice
