Role Mission
As Financial Control Analyst, you will partner with the Global Controller to strengthen SAMY's global finance function by supporting financial closing, reporting, internal controls, and accounting standardisation across multiple international entities. You will help build scalable financial processes that enable the company's continued general growth while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
Financial Closing & Reporting
Support the monthly close process across multiple entities and jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Assist in ensuring compliance with IFRS and relevant local GAAPs.
Coordinate with local finance teams to drive alignment with group accounting standards.
Internal Controls & Standardisation
Support the development and maintenance of group accounting policies and close procedures.
Contribute to the strengthening of the global internal control framework.
Drive standardisation of processes, templates, and documentation across markets.
Promote a controllership culture across the organisation.
Systems & Data Governance
Assist in the functional oversight of group finance systems, including NetSuite.
