Why This Role Matters
As a Satellite RF, Systems & Software Senior Production Technician, you play a vital role in ensuring that ICEYE satellite testing meets aerospace quality standards. You will perform automated verification procedures for functional, payload, and bus tests to validate performance at the subsystem and system levels, conduct operational simulations to verify operational readiness, and oversee final activities, ensure configuration control, and support launch campaigns.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities

- Manage schedule priorities and execute work tasks to meet production timelines.
- Independently perform a variety of tasks according to detailed work instructions and established procedures.
- Operate mechanical and electrical ground support equipment to ensure smooth test operations.
- Communicate proactively with team members and supervisors regarding any challenges or obstacles.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues and implement corrective actions under guidance.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed, including documenting results in Jira and creating NCRs when necessary.
- Assist in managing activities related to satellite launch campaigns.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team, focusing on procedures, processes, tools, and 6S.
