Sr. Accountant - Europe
Reporting to: Europe Controller
Job Summary
Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) provides power circuits for systems found in cloud computing, telecom infrastructure, automotive, industrial and consumer applications. MPS is seeking an energetic, efficient, self‑motivated and resourceful team player to be a member of its accounting staff supporting our local office activities in Barcelona,
Spain as well as accounting and administrative support for other European subsidiaries. The Sr. Accountant reports to the Europe Controller and will be based in Barcelona, Spain.
Essential Functions

- Provide accounting and administration support for all European Subsidiaries.
- Responsible for maintaining bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset, cash accounts and expenses, etc. according to corporate guidelines and NIIFs.
- Prepare and/or work with local service providers to coordinate statutory tax and reporting requirements. Research tax and regulatory issues as needed.
- Prepare and/or work with local service providers to coordinate tax credit, grants and European funds applications and reporting.
- Reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing and/or reviewing journal vouchers, and providing management with timely and accurate reporting.
