About the roleThe Cloud Security Engineer designs, implements, maintains and continuously improves the security of our cloud environment. Reporting to the Head of Security Strategy & Governance, you partner with the Information Security & Technology department to ensure secure operations, support colleagues with expert advice, and drive cloud security initiatives across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the cloud security SME, providing guidance on cloud technologies, architecture decisions, threat modelling, vulnerability assessments, risk acceptance and remediation plans.
- Define,



implement and review secure configuration baselines for cloud services, including policies, guardrails and security settings aligned to best practices.
- Implement, maintain and improve our cloud‑based identity and access controls (least privilege, conditional access, privileged access, etc.).
- Implement, maintain and improve our cloud‑based device management platforms.
- Provide advice and support to the Global IT organization for security or IT incidents, troubleshooting and problem solving for cloud‑related topics.
- Contribute to cloud‑related security governance, including automation, artificial intelligence and infrastructure‑as‑code.
- Contribute to our internal security awareness programme when needed.
- Review designs, projects and roadmaps to align with our internal security strategy and best practice.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to design and deliver secure cloud solutions.
