What You’ll Do

-
- Own the indirect procurement agenda for your country: all services and goods except direct commercial spend.
- Act as pivotal link between Group Indirect Procurement (GIP) and local stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the new procurement guideline for CECONOMY AG and all group companies.
- Lead contracts from review through negotiation to execution — make decisions based on market context, not just routine.
- Drive the introduction of the new Regional Indirect Procurement Manager role: you’ll manage end‑to‑end sourcing, and you’ll approve tender waivers.
- Build and deploy the decision‑matrix for spend thresholds and help ensure local teams and requesters understand how technical & commercial criteria must be weighed.




- Partner with other departments and support requesters for other functions.
- Analyse spend across countries, benchmark costs, challenge suppliers and processes, and ensure you’re delivering best value for the business.
- Monitor monthly spend and identify optimization opportunities across categories and suppliers.

What We’re Looking For

-
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — you’ll influence across functions and levels.
- Excellent analytical skills and comfort working with data (spend analysis, cost benchmarking, decision matrices).
- Deep understanding of end‑to‑end procurement processes.
- Proven project management ability — you thrive when driving change, simplifying guidelines and setting new standards.
- Experience in contract management is a strong plus.
- Fluent in English.
- Previous role as a Strategic Buyer or experience in indirect procurement would be adecuado.
