The opportunity
We are seeking a Head of Shared Services to join our team. Reporting to the CEO, this is a strategic leadership role that will be pivotal in establishing, managing, and optimising our shared services function. You will be responsible for centralising and streamlining critical business operations, including finance, human resources, information technology, facilities, and other support functions. This position offers the unique opportunity to build and lead a high‑performing team whilst driving digitisation, operational efficiency, cost optimisation, and service excellence across the organisation.
Your work will have a direct impact on RSPCA WA's ability to allocate resources effectively towards our core animal welfare mission.
Key responsibilities
Establish, develop, and lead the Shared Services function, creating frameworks, processes, and policies that support all operational divisions of RSPCA WA
Manage and supervise shared services teams across finance, human resources, information technology, facility management and risk, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
Develop and implement operational strategies that streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs whilst maintaining service quality
Oversee financial management, budgeting, and reporting to ensure compliance with organisational policies and statutory requirements
Provide executive oversight of workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and organisational culture
Maintain and mature the organisation's risk
