The idóneo candidate is an experienced Rust software engineer with a proven track record of leading technical initiatives in complex software environments. You enjoy solving challenging technical problems while empowering others to perform at their best.
You lead by example, encourage open communication and create an environment where engineers can grow and deliver their best work.
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in software/electrical engineering or a related field.
- Strong, hands‑on Rust development experience (preferably more than 4 years) with deep understanding of core Rust concepts (ownership,
borrowing, lifetimes) and asynchronous programming (async/await).
- Proficiency with Rust libraries/frameworks (Tokio, Actix-web, Rocket, Serde, SQL), and Foreign-Function Interfaces.
- Experience with Linux containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and basic scripting.
- Experience with message brokers (e.g. RabbitMQ), event‑driven architecture, event stores, event sourcing, and actor models.
- Experience with applying design patterns relevant for distributed systems.
- Exposure to AI‑enabled software development practices and modern cloud‑native architectures.
- Familiar with Domain‑Driven Design (DDD), Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD).
- SAFe/Agile experience is essential.
