This role is part of Alcon's Project Management function, a team that ensures all regular and one-off projects are planned, organized, and executed effectively to help our people and the world see brilliantly. The Associate, Project/Program Management is primarily responsible for assisting in planning, executing, and supervising various projects or programs and assisting the VP in planning and coordinating. You will build effective relationships with collaborators, understand project goals, and communicate within the team.



You'll also contribute to global project strategies and suggest improvements while you are based in Barcelona. Specifics include:
Responsibilities
- Assist in project planning, organizing, and controlling functions
- Conduct regular meetings with project members to determine progress and address questions or concerns
- Create detailed project plans, outlining the schedule, budget, and resources, and assist in developing and monitoring project budgets
- Develop an understanding of project scope and objectives
- Provide support in identifying and mitigating project risks
- Collaborate with all project stakeholders, providing updates on progress, changes, or adjustments, and interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met
