The role combines strong functional expertise in procurement and inventory management with international business stakeholder engagement and end-to-end responsibility for logistics and process re-engineering initiatives.
The consultant will design and implement SAP MM solutions for procurement and inventory management processes, ensuring integration with sales flows and the wider SAP ecosystem. The position covers the full delivery lifecycle, from understanding business needs and defining requirements to functional testing and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Meet with international supply chain teams and other business stakeholders to understand their needs and propose suitable SAP implementation alternatives.
- Gather, document,
validate and manage functional requirements related to procurement and inventory management.
- Design functional solutions, working with SAP documents, data models and the required system configuration.
- Ensure the integration of procurement and inventory processes with sales flows.
- Coordinate dependencies with SAP teams, integration teams and other technical stakeholders.
- Prepare and execute functional testing.
- Monitor project timelines, stakeholders, dependencies and deliverables.
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned initiatives.
- Engage the relevant teams and elevate blockers appropriately when necessary.
- Support the business throughout requirements definition, solution design, configuration, testing and delivery.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience with SAP MM, typically five or more years.
- Practical experience in SAP implementation projects.
