R&D; Manager (Rubber Business)
As a R&D; Manager, you will be responsible for all activities to ensure the success of the product lines and marketing strategies, define a roadmap for product development by identifying opportunities for improving the growth trajectory of product lines and recommending new product development,
manage P&L; for product lines and ensuring actions are taken to maintain as much profit as possible with the given product line. You will report to the Rubber Product Line Manager. For this role, you will be based in Vilanova i la Geltrú, Barcelona (Spain). The position has responsibility for China and India and will require regular travel to both countries.
Responsibilities

- Define and execute the mid‑ and long‑term General R&D; strategy aligned with corporate and commercial objectives.
- Lead and develop the R&D; team (product engineering, materials, laboratory and testing).
- Drive new product development and continuous improvement of rubber power transmission belts worldwide.
- Research, develop and validate rubber compounds, reinforcements and surface treatments.
- Improve product performance (durability, energy efficiency, noise, vibration, thermal and chemical resistance).
