Galileo is Europe's General Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), providing accurate positioning and timing information.
CETRA BASE is currently looking for 2 experienced IT Systems Administrators.
Positions are based in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (France) and/or Madrid (Spain).
Tasks and ResponsibilitiesTo provide IT system administration support for operational systems ensuring continuity and availability of services while supporting incident handling and operational team activitie. Those activities encompass:
- Handling of incidents and requests
- Performing daily and weekly routine health status checks
- Providing daily reports
- Executing Preventive Maintenance procedures
- Executing Corrective Maintenance procedures (e.g. faulty HW replacement)
- Participating in recurrent technical meetings





Essential qualifications and experienceWe are looking for a Windows and/or Linux Systems Administrator with minimum 2 (two) years of hands‑on experience with at least 2 of the following fields:
- Microsoft technologies: MS Windows Domain (AD), MS Exchange, IIS, RDS, System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
- Linux & Container Orchestration: Red Hat Linux, command line, kubernetes, ansible, rancher
- Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus / Grafana, OpenNMS, Nagios
- Storage & Backup: Longhorn, VEEAM
- Security & Networking: Firewall Management, IDS Management, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Management, VPN Solutions, Antivirus Management
- Middleware & Application Servers: jBoss EAP

At least B2 level of English according to CEFR levels.
Experience in Space programmes
MCSA, MCSE or equivalente certification
