Job Summary

The Payroll Tax Specialist is responsible for supporting accurate, compliant,



and timely payroll tax administration across PACS’s multi-state portfolio of healthcare facilities. This role researches and resolves federal, state, and local payroll tax notices; coordinates with tax agencies, ADP SmartCompliance, internal payroll teams, and facility contacts; and maintains accurate tracking, documentation, and audit-ready records. The Payroll Tax Specialist also supports tax account registrations for newly acquired entities, assists with payroll tax reconciliations, tax rate changes, and compliance inquiries, and helps strengthen payroll tax processes, controls, and reporting through continuous improvement and attention to detail.
