Nursing Informatics Specialist (AI Training)

About The Role

Your clinical experience is more valuable than you think — beyond the bedside. We're looking for Nursing Informatics Specialists to help train and evaluate AI systems that will power the next generation of healthcare technology. By applying your real-world nursing knowledge to AI development, you'll help ensure these tools are clinically accurate, safe, and genuinely useful for healthcare professionals.

This is a fully remote, versátil contract role working alongside world-leading AI research teams.

What You'll Do

Evaluate AI-generated clinical content and workflows for accuracy, safety, and real-world applicability
Apply your knowledge of EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) to assess and improve AI outputs related to clinical documentation
Identify gaps, errors, or unsafe recommendations in AI responses related to nursing practice
Translate nursing workflows and clinical reasoning into structured,



actionable feedback for AI training teams
Review and annotate healthcare scenarios, patient data narratives, and clinical decision-support content
Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background with experience in nursing informatics or health IT
Hands-on experience with EHR systems and clinical documentation workflows
Strong analytical skills — able to spot what's clinically sound and what isn't
Clear written communicator who can translate complex clinical concepts into structured feedback
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently

Nice to Have

Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation systems
Background in clinical informatics, health IT implementation, or EHR optimization
Familiarity with AI tools or interest in how large language models are developed
