The Role
As a Finance & Tax Intern, you will dive deep into the world of indirect US taxation and statutory reporting. This isn’t just about numbers—it’s about understanding the financial heartbeat of a global tech leader. You will support our tax experts in everything from Direct and Indirect Tax compliance to Transfer Pricing and R&D; credits.
We are looking for a detail-oriented student who is eager to learn how a modern finance department operates and who isn’t afraid to leverage AI and automation to optimize traditional processes.
The work you’ll do

- Compliance & Filing: Assisting with US Sales & Use Tax compliance obligations, tracking State and Local Tax (SALT) economic nexus thresholds, and coordinating state and local municipal business license renewals.
- Gross Receipts, Commercial Rent & State Taxes: Supporting compliance, data compilation, and filing requirements for US local gross receipts taxes, Ohio Commercial Activity Tax (CAT), the New York City Commercial Rent Tax (CRT), and other state/municipal indirect tax obligations.
- Property Tax & Audit Readiness & Exemption Management: Assisting with local business personal property tax filings (such as compiling data for asset listings and Form of List compliance) and US State Tax Audit readiness through comprehensive data compilation. Supporting the review
