Experteer Overview

As a GPCS Buyer, you secure value-for-money non-inventory packaging supplies for Fulfilment Centers and support procurement across a cluster. You collaborate with FCs, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and compliant purchasing.

You’ll lead regional process improvements, forecast materials, and maintain procurement catalogs and vendor onboarding. This role blends operational execution with strategic sourcing to keep FCs stocked and costs in check. You will be part of a mission-driven team focused on efficient, compliant sourcing at scale.

- Lead regional and multi-regional process improvement initiatives
- Perform weekly and monthly business reviews
- Support change management for new shipping materials introductions
- Plan and execute daily forecast and materials management of non-inventory packaging supplies
- Create purchase orders and liaise with suppliers for prompt deliveries
- Develop relationships with internal customers and external suppliers and other Amazon teams




- Ensure compliance with Spending and Transaction Policy
- Plan truck deliveries and communicate delivery schedules to FC receiving teams
- Serve as escalation point for on-time deliveries with suppliers
- Work with operations to mitigate space constraints and optimize logistics
- Manage and reduce Invoices on Hold (IOH)
- Provide coverage and training to other Sr Buyers/Buyers and travel to FCs as needed
- Deliver procurement metrics and targets (KPIs, cost savings, stock-out avoidance)
- Perform compliance checks on requisitions
- Create/modify/deprecate procurement catalogs
- Perform vendor onboarding tasks
- Occasional travel to FCs or other regions (approx. 5%)

Responsabilidades

- CEFR level/B2-C1 English proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience leading procurement and/or supply chain projects
