As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the warehouse in accordance with operational and new business plans and targets.
What youll do (your mission)
- Responsible for daily scheduling of warehouse personnel on the assigned shift, to ensure proper staffing in order to receive and dispatch products at the warehouse in a productive and cost effective manner
- Administers duties as required to ensure daily KPI performance is achieved.
- Directs the day-to-day activities of the warehouse shift, including dispatching, receiving, replenishments, and inventory control.
- Ensures no claims such as but not limited to inventory variances, stock damages, expired stocks, damage to customer assets, penalties, etc against the company are incurred.
- Recommend to the warehouse manager initiatives which may improve productivity and cost efficiency, increase revenue or avoid revenue leakages, and generate cost savings.
- Ensures proper maintenance of warehouse equipment, providing both preventative maintenance programs and all necessary repairs. Ensures that the warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment in order to perform the distribution functions.
- Ensures orders are picked, packed, and shipped in accordance with designated cutoff times.
- Ensure that all incidents/accidents are covered by Nonconformity Handling Tools / NHT and reported within 24hours from the time of incident/accident.
- Ensures GWP (Good Warehousing Practices) is being implemented.
- Handles special projects or added-value services and prepared corresponding billings.
- Prepare weekly accrual or revenue and monthly billings for submission to Finance.
