Due to a significant expansion of our client base across Europe, BW is seeking to appoint a MEP Design Manager, with a strong background in Critical infrastructure design, to assist with the successful delivery of projects. Reporting to Project Director/s and working closely with our in-house Design Leads, the MEP Design Manager will be responsible for ensuring successful and timely delivery of the Design and to undertake Project Management related activities. This role is both client-facing and internally focused and will require good skills in stakeholder management to ensure that each project is priced and executed in a timely fashion. The role is based at our offices in either Barcelona or Madrid.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, providing clear and timely communication on project status, risks, and changes.
Develop a deep understanding of the project requirements,



objectives, and deliverables, using this knowledge to drive project planning and execution.
Strong experience delivering complex building or infrastructure projects; Hyperscale data centre experience highly regarded.
Coordinated MEP design inputs with architects, structural engineers, civil engineers, and specialist sub-consultants.
Act as the primary MEP design interface for Clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of Local codes and international standards.
Create detailed project plans, work-pack schedules, and timelines to ensure efficient and successful delivery of all project elements.
Proactively identify and manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution, in collaboration with the Design Leads.
