Energiot is looking for an Electronic Engineer to join the Product and R&D; team in Barcelona.

The person will contribute to the design, development, testing, and improvement of Energiot’s self‑powered IoT devices for electrical grid monitoring. This role involves working closely with hardware, firmware, mechanical, product, and operations teams to develop reliable electronic solutions for devices deployed in demanding field environments.

This is an adecuado position for someone with a strong background in electronics, preferably with a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field, who wants to work on real‑world IoT products for the energy sector and contribute to the development of innovative technologies for electrical networks.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in the electronic design and development of IoT devices for electrical grid monitoring.
- Work on PCB design,



circuit development, component selection, and hardware validation.
- Support the development, testing, and debugging of electronic prototypes and production‑ready devices.
- Program and test microcontrollers, with a focus on embedded systems and low‑power devices.
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and product teams to ensure integration between hardware, software, and mechanical design.
- Contribute to the improvement of device reliability, manufacturability, and field performance.
- Support R&D; projects in collaboration with electrical utilities and industrial partners.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, test reports, and design revisions.
- Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to support prototyping, production, and quality improvements.
- Contribute to product certification processes and compliance‑related activities when required.
