We are looking for a Client Portfolio Manager in our Madrid Office with proven dealing, trading and account management experience. The successful candidate will help to develop, expand and manage the institutional client base, taking responsibility for trading account set‑up, relationship management and deal execution. CPMs offer expert and bespoke suggestions and ideas to clients, providing strategies to minimise FX risk challenges. They plan, structure and execute deals, giving clients the best value while contributing to Ebury’s growth. The best CPMs go on to head up and train teams, ensuring the next generation is inspired, motivated and proficient. This is a 360‑degree role requiring proven dealing and FX trading expertise, exceptional sales acumen,



and a passion for acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships.

What you’ll do as a Client Portfolio Manager

- Drive New Business Acquisition: Proactively identify, engage, and onboard new institutional clients through independent research, strategic outreach, and networking. Originate new business by leveraging existing client relationships for referrals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients and the fund ecosystem (investment managers, corporate service providers and fund administrators), understanding their investment objectives, risk appetite, and FX requirements.
- Manage a portfolio of institutional clients, executing a range of different products, including FX hedging, lending, payments and cash management. Upsell Ebury’s broad product capabilities, ensuring a best‑in‑class client proposition.
