About the role
We are looking for a highly analytical professional to join the Market Intelligence team, delivering actionable market insights that inform strategic decision-making, investment planning, competitive positioning, regulatory impact assessments, and risk management across all OX2 markets. The role will support commercial decision-making, product development,
and portfolio value creation across our focusmarkets.Thisis an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the company's transition towards becoming a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP).
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor power market fundamentals, regulatory developments, and emerging market trends across key markets.
- Analysemarket data and develop insights on power prices, renewable generation, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and market risks.
- Develop,maintain, and challenge market views, external forecasts, and key commercial assumptions.
- Build and enhance analytical models, datasets, and tools supporting market analysis, portfolio management, and investment decisions.
- Support asset optimization byanalysingcapture prices, imbalance exposure, and BESS value streams.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis related to portfolio strategy, structured offtake solutions, and BESS offtake opportunities.
- Develop automated workflows and apply AI and advanced analytics techniques to strengthen market intell
