Job Description:

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Gameplay & Monetisation domain, you’ll help build and evolve one of the world’s biggest live mobile game franchises, delivering high-quality, reliable game features and systems that reach millions of players every day. You’ll design, implement, test, optimize, and maintain code while collaborating closely with designers, artists, producers, and fellow engineers in a collaborative, high-impact environment.

Soda King’s second largest game, Candy Crush Soda Saga, is loved by millions of players worldwide, matching Swedish fish, rescued Soda gummy bears, and popped soda bottles to win points, defeat obstacles and progress through more than 11,000 levels.

Your Role Within the Kingdom

- Design, architect, implement, and test new and existing game features, with a focus on monetisation systems and features that drive player value and economy engagement.
- Maintain and optimize client-side systems for memory, performance, and device diversity at mobile scale.
- Lead through expertise and collaboration; contribute to technical discovery, evaluate trade-offs, and choose effective methods and techniques to reach outcomes.
- Champion quality through code reviews, well-structured code, and testing practices; proactively identify risks and propose solutions.
- Collaborate in a cross-functional, player-centric team; share knowledge and help teammates grow.
