About the Role
M&A; Associate based out of Madrid (Luca de Tena office). While based in Spain, the role is fully integrated within Santander CIB’s broader European Technology franchise, providing the opportunity to work alongside colleagues across the region on high‑profile strategic M&A;, equity capital markets, and other corporate finance transactions for leading technology clients.
As part of Santander CIB’s global Technology franchise, you will work within an integrated international platform that combines the reach, resources, and execution capabilities of a leading global bank with the agility and entrepreneurial culture of a fast‑growing advisory team. Associates are expected to take meaningful responsibility from the outset,



playing a central role in transaction execution, client engagement, financial analysis, and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Developing differentiated insights on Technology sector dynamics, including valuation trends, capital flows, strategic and sponsor activity, public market performance, disruptive business models, and emerging subsectors.
Driving the preparation and quality control of senior‑level client materials, including pitch books, strategic reviews, management presentations, information memoranda, board materials, investor presentations and internal approval documents.
