We are a freelance headhunter supporting a leading technology company in its search for a Procurement Lead. The company is undergoing a major operational transformation from manual procurement processes in Excel and Google Forms to a centralized procurement software system. This strategic position reports directly to the CFO & COO and offers the opportunity to lead a project defining the company’s internal efficiency and digital maturity for years to come.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the full implementation of a procurement software (from vendor selection to go‑live and user adoption).
- Map and redesign all existing manual procurement workflows to ensure automation and scalability.
- Collaborate with cloud service providers and suppliers for technical integration and onboarding.
- Define approval flows, KPIs,



dashboards, and policies for cost and process control.
- Develop automations and data flows for real‑time visibility and reporting.
- Work cross‑functionally with IT, Legal, Finance, and Office Management to align with SOC‑2 and ISO compliance standards.
- Act as a project manager, leading planning, communication, and change management activities.
- Promote transparency, process ownership, and collaboration across the organization.

Requirements

- 8+ years of progressive experience in Procurement, Sourcing, or Operations, ideally within tech, SaaS, or consulting.
- Proven success leading the implementation of procurement & ERP systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba, Oracle, Precoro).
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process automation and cross‑departmental transformation.
- Experience with Zapier, Jira, and similar workflow
