An opportunity for a Training Devices Project Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).
The selected candidate will join the Transport & Mission Training Aids Team, which is responsible to lead the execution on time, on cost, on quality of all the tasks related to the definition, purchase, development, validation, acceptance, qualification and delivery to the customer of LTA and MRTT simulators.
Responsibilities
The jobholder will be responsible for the definition, development and delivery of LTA and MRTT simulators to our customers. The jobholder will also support communications with the Customer, Internal Organizations and Suppliers, including discussions related to the definition of the contractual obligations to be delivered to the Customer as well as the definition of the contractual documents with suppliers.
These activities also include the preparation of the Data Package (DP) and Software Package (SWP)
and the definition and purchase of Parts & Equipment (P&E;) and Spares. This involves the use of Airbus configuration and documentation tools and the participation in the Configuration, Modifications and Service Bulletins Committees to analyze impacts on the on-going projects and if so, launch the appropriate activities.
The jobholder ensures the provision of deliverables from all the Stakeholders OTOCOQ. The jobholder has full responsibility for the delivery of the final product to the Customers ensuring the proper identification and control of Risks and Opportunities and guarantees accurate reporting of key performance indicators.
