About The RoleAs a Technical Support & Data Operations Engineer, you’ll bridge the gap between our Customer Experience and Core Engineering teams. Your primary mission is product stability: diagnosing, troubleshooting, and fixing bugs directly in our codebase (Ruby, Python and Java).
When the bug queue is clear, you will pivot to our data vanguard—ensuring customer data integrations, legacy migrations,



and precision data entry are executed flawlessly. You’ll work with sensitive information, ensuring data integrity while actively looking for ways to automate repetitive data tasks so they never have to be done manually again.
What will you be doing?
- Bug Hunting & Fixing: Dive deep into Factorial's codebase to diagnose, troubleshoot, and deploy code fixes for customer-reported issues.
- Code Maintenance: Write clean and maintainable code in Ruby on Rails and TypeScript, using Python for scripts and handling existing internal Java data tooling when required.
- Data Operations & Entry: When the platform is running smoothly, manage the accurate input of text, numerical data, and customer configurations where automated solutions are not yet available.
- ETL Workflows & Migrations: Design and execute data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) customer data from legacy systems into our SaaS platform.
