Your role and responsibilities

- Architect complex event‑driven solutions using Apache Kafka and Apache Flink, and lead the technical relationship with strategic enterprise accounts.
- Own the technical discovery process, mapping business pain points to Confluent product value propositions using the CLUSTER framework.
- Serve as a trusted thought partner, driving the “technical win” during critical phases of the customer lifecycle.
- Lead comprehensive technical discovery sessions with high‑value prospects to uncover customer challenges and the underlying why.




- Support opportunity qualification and participate in MEDDPICC framework activities, filling technical criteria, building champions, and shaping business wins.
- Develop, conduct, and manage the technical execution of RFPs/RFIs, building and customizing PoCs that demonstrate Confluent’s low‑latency streaming advantage.
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical objections and systemic issues, leveraging deep knowledge of Kafka/Flink internals.
- Advocate for customers internally, sharing key field learnings and architecture patterns across core internal Slack channels to influence product roadmaps.
