What will you do
You will be part of the Micro‑Nanoelectronics and Photonics line within the Advanced Communications Area, developing cutting‑edge photonic technologies with real societal impact. You will advance RF photonics and PIC‑based technologies for next‑generation communications, computation,



and sensing, while shaping neuromorphic and energy‑harvesting photonic solutions that enable ultra‑low‑power, scalable systems for edge, aerospace, and security‑critical domains.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Contribute to the strategic evolution of the photonic line by evaluating emerging technologies and guiding innovative solutions from concept through validated implementation.
- Drive innovation by proposing new technical ideas and contributing to research and project proposals with clear societal and technological impact.
- Lead photonic projects end‑to‑end, translating project requirements into effective technical execution to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers and researchers, fostering technical growth, knowledge sharing, and strong team collaboration.
