Following recent investments, the company has a robust pipeline of BESS projects in Spain and is looking to strengthen its development team.

What will you be doing?

- Lead the development of utility-scale BESS projects from site identification, permitting, and design through to financial close.
- Coordinate technical, commercial, and regulatory aspects of BESS projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy and investor expectations.
- Manage relationships with landowners, local authorities, grid operators, and other external stakeholders to secure necessary permits, grid connections, and approvals.
- Prepare project financial models, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to support investment decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, legal,



commercial, and project management) to ensure smooth handover from development to construction.
- Track market trends, policy changes, and technology developments in BESS to inform strategic planning.
- Support portfolio-level decision-making and reporting for the Spanish BESS pipeline.

Are you the ideal candidate?

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Storage, or a related technical discipline.
- 5–10+ years of experience in project development within renewables, preferably with BESS, storage, or hybrid projects.
- Strong knowledge of Spain permitting, grid connection, and regulatory frameworks for energy projects.
- Experience managing project feasibility, financial modeling, and risk assessment for utility-scale projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with experience engaging with authorities, partners, and investors.
