Associate / AVP Project Finance – Madrid

Function positioning
As an Associate / AVP within the Project Finance team, you will support the origination, analysis, structuring and execution of Project Finance transactions across a range of sectors.



Working closely with clients and internal stakeholders, you will contribute throughout the transaction lifecycle, from due diligence and financial modelling through to documentation and closing.

The role includes the following:
- Support the analysis, structuring and execution of Project Finance transactions
- Conduct financial, commercial and credit due diligence on new opportunities
- Review financial statements, financial models, market studies, engineering reports and legal documentation
- Build and analyse financial models to assess project viability and financing structures
- Analyse credit documentation, financing terms and covenant packages
- Prepare credit applications, transaction summaries and risk assessments for approval committees
- Support transaction execution, including KYC, legal due diligence and closing processes
- Prepare client presentations, marketing materials and sector research
