We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join one of our high-impact aerospace and defence projects in Madrid, Spain.

Work-life balance: Full-time Monday to Thursday, early Fridays, and reduced working hours throughout the summer.

What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic ,Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in digital hardware design, PCB architecture, FPGA integration, DDR memory interfaces, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability sectors.
- Advanced electronic design (processors, DDR memories and high-speed communications).
- Hardware architecture and board-level design.
- Requirements management and traceability.
- Hardware development lifecycle and V-Model methodologies.




- FPGA/Firmware integration environments.
- Electronic design tools such as Altium, Mentor Graphics or Xpedition.
- Requirements management tools such as DOORS.
- Circuit simulation tools (PSpice, TINA, etc.).

What will be your responsibilities?
- Define and develop complex electronic hardware architectures.
- Generate board-level technical specifications.
- Lead hardware design activities throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure requirements traceability and compliance.
- Coordinate technical activities related to board development.
- Collaborate with firmware, FPGA and systems engineering teams.
- Support design reviews and project milestones (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
- Contribute to verification and validation activities.
