At SG Tech, we are currently looking for an SAP Support Specialist to join a strategic project for a leading financial entity based in the UK. Due to the urgency of the requirement, we are actively reviewing profiles and moving quickly with suitable candidates.

This role offers the opportunity to work within an Agile product team, closely collaborating with business stakeholders, including the CEO Procurement function, to ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of SAP systems.

Role Overview
The SAP Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical, functional, and user support across SAP platforms, ensuring system stability, performance, and effective adoption by end users. The role involves troubleshooting incidents, implementing enhancements, and supporting business‑critical SAP processes.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Support

- Diagnose,



troubleshoot, and resolve SAP system issues across different environments.
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and regular system maintenance activities.
- Coordinate closely with the SAP Basis team for system updates, patches, and upgrades.

User Support

- Provide first‑line support to end users for SAP‑related queries and incidents.
- Assist users with SAP functionalities, ensuring they are properly trained and able to maximize system capabilities.
- Develop, maintain, and update user documentation and training materials.

Functional Support

- Work with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Customize and configure SAP modules to support and optimize business processes.
- Support the design, testing, and implementation of SAP enhancements and new functionalities.

Incident & Problem Management
