About the role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer for our “Seqera Platform” team—a customer‑facing product offered as both cloud‑ and on‑premises solutions. You will address a wide range of technical challenges across frontend, backend, infrastructure, distributed programming, containerization, cloud architectures, and integrations,



helping scientists solve complex problems in biotech.

What You’ll Do

- Lead a high‑talent engineering team that designs, implements, and maintains efficient, reusable, and reliable code across our full software stack.
- Collaborate closely with product and cross‑functional teams, interpreting customer feedback to drive development that exceeds user expectations.
- Champion best engineering practices, improve processes, document onboarding artifacts, aid hiring, prioritize technical backlog, and positively influence Seqera’s engineering culture.

About You

- Strong foundational knowledge in software engineering, with experience in both front‑end and back‑end development and the ability to quickly ramp up on new frameworks and technologies.
