Taylor Hopkinson is supporting a leading international renewable energy company in the search for a senior Grid Connection & HV Engineering professional to join their growing team in Madrid.This role will focus on leading grid-related activities for large-scale energy projects, managing technical coordination with key stakeholders and supporting projects through development and delivery phases.ResponsibilitiesLead grid connection activities and provide technical direction across large-scale energy projects.Manage technical discussions with utilities, grid operators, and external engineering partners.Review and coordinate electrical engineering studies, grid assessments, and technical documentation.Support project development teams with grid feasibility analysis and technical due diligence.Provide technical guidance throughout project design and construction phases.Ensure compliance with applicable Spanish and European grid requirements.RequirementsExperience in power systems, grid connection, or high-voltage engineering.Proven experience within the Spanish electricity sector, working with utilities, grid operators, or engineering companies.Experience supporting large-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
