Salary: €29,500–€31,000 per year
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stages 4 and 5, preparing students for IGCSE and A-Level examinations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community in a beautiful setting, with convenient access to Valencia city and the Mediterranean coast.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons at KS4 and KS5.
- Prepare students for IGCSE and A-Level examinations.
- Assess, monitor and report on students’ progress.
- Adapt teaching to meet different learning needs and abilities.
- Maintain high expectations for achievement, behaviour and participation.
- Provide constructive feedback and additional support where required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Mathematics department.
- Contribute to the wider academic life of the school.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and student welfare.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants MUST have:
- Qualified Teacher Status, a PGCE OR equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- A relevant degree or strong academic background in Mathematics.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at KS4 and KS5.
- Experience preparing students for IGCSE and A-Level examinations.
- Strong knowledge of the British National Curriculum.
- The right to live and work in Spain.
- Native Level English
