We are looking for a Legal Counsel - Spain to join our Barcelona office and become the legal subject matter expert for our Spanish operations.
Reporting directly to the Chief Compliance & Regulatory Affairs Director, you will provide practical legal advice across a wide range of commercial, corporate and operational matters affecting the Group's Spanish related business. Working closely with colleagues across Legal, Compliance and the wider business, you will help ensure our operations remain legally compliant while supporting commercial growth in one of our key regulated markets.
This role is primarily focused on legal matters, with regular exposure to the regulatory environment in Spain. While previous experience within the Spanish online gambling sector is not essential, an understanding of highly regulated industries and the ability to work with regulatory bodies will be valued.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys working autonomously, partnering with stakeholders across the business and becoming the trusted legal advisor for the Spanish market.




What will you be doing?
Legal Advisory

Provide day-to-day legal advice and guidance on commercial, corporate and operational matters relating to the Group's Spanish operations.
Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including supplier, technology, marketing, partnership and service contracts.
Advise internal stakeholders on legal risk while delivering commercially pragmatic solutions.
Support corporate governance matters relating to the Group's Spanish entities.
Assist with strategic legal projects, including corporate restructurings, business initiatives and, where applicable, acquisitions or integrations.
Manage relationships with external legal advisors where specialist advice is required, helping reduce reliance on external counsel wherever possible.
