We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to lead and deliver complex capital investment engineering projects in a regulated environment. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives in terms of time, cost, and quality.
What You Will Do
- In close collaboration with the sponsor, perform cost-benefit analysis and develop implementation strategies to support project justification and business case development.
- Prepare required deliverables for internal/integral decision stage gates and capital funding requests.
- Define user requirement specifications (URS), project scope, budget estimates, and schedules for assigned projects.
- Ensure all project deliverables and activities align with project objectives, KPIs, and overall business strategy (e.g., BSR/MPS, SMP, Sustainability).
- Lead multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams to achieve project goals by effectively managing scope, budget, and schedule baselines.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Regulatory, Legal, EHS, Sustainability, and innovation requirements.
- Take ownership of yearly CapEx targets and oversee the capitalization process of fixed assets.
- Manage project budgets efficiently, focusing on fit-for-purpose and proven solutions executed in a simple and effective way.
- Develop and implement communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review technical specifications, procurement packages, and project documentation to ensure compliance with engineering standards and procedures.
