Job DescriptionThe IT Operation and Service Specialist for Asset & Configuration Data Management plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, health, and reliability of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This position is responsible for the day‑to‑day management of CMDB data, acting as a bridge between the data and the IT teams that rely on it. The candidate will ensure that IT Service Management (ITSM) processes are strictly followed and will empower our Product Service Lines (PSLs) to effectively manage and consume CMDB data within ServiceNow.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily operational (RUN) tasks to maintain, update, and audit CMDB data content, ensuring high accuracy and reliability of configuration items (CIs)



and their relationships.
- Proactively collaborate with and support other IT teams (infrastructure, application, network, etc.) to identify data discrepancies, resolve CI conflicts, and continuously improve overall CMDB data quality.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for Product Service Lines (PSLs), providing hands‑on support and guidance on managing and updating CMDB data within the ServiceNow platform.
- Assist PSLs in designing and building practical scenarios and workflows to efficiently consume CMDB content for incident, problem, change, and lifecycle management.
- Ensure all asset and configuration management activities align with internal governance, ITIL best practices, and organizational ITSM standards.

Qualifications
- Active ITIL Certification (ITIL Foundation V3 or ITIL 4 Foundation minimum requirement).
- Comprehensive understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes,
