OverviewAt ING we are looking for a Non-Financial Risk Specialist to join the Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Team of ING Spain. In the role of NFR Specialist, you will report to the Head of NFR. ING is restructuring its processes, controls, and infrastructure to transform into a Digital Bank with end-to-end “straight through processing”. The NFR team oversees global NFR policies and best practices within ING Spain, advising and challenging risk/control owners on the effectiveness of risk identification and mitigation. The team monitors and reports ING Spain’s adherence to the NFR risk appetite and produces the quarterly Non-Financial Risk dashboard (NFRD) report. The NFR team focuses on:

Responsibilities




- Be a trusted NFR advisor towards IT and Business management.
- Support, challenge and monitor NFR risk management processes and quality.
- Participate in and challenge risk assessments on key strategic projects and programs.
- Support the Business and IT management on issue identification, risk rating assessment, action definition and follow-up until issue solving.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance and rollout of NFR Frameworks, Policies, Minimum Standards and Procedures.
- Perform Quality Assurance or deep-dive reviews as part of second-line monitoring.
- Identify external/internal developments, initiatives, and threats and translate them into the risk strategy.
- Monitor the design and effectiveness of controls.
- Contribute to the identification of impact and coordination of responses to regulatory changes, ECB reports, etc., and monitor follow-up on regulatory issue solving.
