Offer Description
NeuTransPsy

The main objective of the postdoctoral researcher will be to carry out biochemical and molecular as well as histological studies of cell cultures and post-mortem samples of models of psychiatric disorders with a neuro-immune focus.

The main tasks will be: 1) To perform cell culture models of psychiatric disorders. 2)



Perform histological and advanced confocal microscopy studies of brain tissue or fixed cultures. 3) Participate in team meetings and with the supervisor. 4) Perform complex analyses of rodent behaviour by viewing videos and recordings (without manipulation). 5) Perform complex statistical analyses and write their interpretation as well as make scientific reports.

The supervisor and principal investigator will be Albert Giralt, PhD. And the project will be carried out in the Neural plasticity in neurological and neuropsychiatric diseases lab in the Medical School of the University of Barcelona.
